7. Once the risotto is cooked to your desired consistency, stir in steeped saffron threads and their liquid, grated Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

8. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

9. Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
